On Saturday, July 13th members of the New England Garrison and Alderaan Base made a return trip to LeLacheur Park in Lowell, MA for “Star Wars Day with the Spinners”. After being rained out last year the Emperor and a squad of faithful troopers, along with his apprentice Darth Vader, took to the field and the stands. In addition to the dark forces present at the game, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi was escorted by a pair of skilled X-Wing pilots. This was a fun day filled with beautiful weather, baseball, and Star Wars and all in attendance had a great time while taking pictures with their favorite characters.

In what has become a tradition with the Star Wars themed events at the ballpark, the Lowell Spinners wore custom designed jerseys during the game. After which they were auctioned off and the proceeds went to the G-Man Foundation, whose mission is to provide meaningful experiences that lead to optimal life success for children on the Autism Spectrum.
