The good folks at the Franklin Park Zoo invited the 501st’s New England Garrison, along with the Rebel Legion’s Alderaan Base back for another Star Wars Day. Our troopers descended upon the base on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10th. The zoo was very pleased with all our troopers and wranglers, they had a great turnout. As did we! On Star Wars Day, May the 4th, the 501st’s New England Garrison, along with the Rebel Legion’s Alderaan Base, was invited to Star Wars Night at Fenway Park. – This was a troop that is one for the history books! The adjective “EPIC!” is not a strong enough word to describe how great this night was! On Sunday, March 22nd, The New England Garrison, along with Alderaan Base, was invited to attend the Manchester Monarchs hockey game in Manchester, NH.  The day was also the birthday of Max, the mascot of the Monarchs. Reports from our troops state that it was a fun time, with lots to do.  We were on the concourse, greeting fans as they came and and posed for photos.  During the night, there was a dance contest with some of the kids from the game, and a birthday cake for Max.  And Max even competed against one of our Biker Scouts in…

  On Sunday, March 15th, the New England Garrison kicked off the unofficial start to the trooping season by marching in the annual Boston’s St Patrick’s Day Parade. We were joined by members of the Rebel Legion’s Alderaan Base and the Mando Mercs, as well as troopers visiting from the Empire City Garrison! The morning started off with a breakfast tailgate party! On February 28th, the New England Garrison, along with the Rebel Legion and the Mando Mercs, were invited to Star Wars Hockey night, as the UMass Lowell River Hawks took on the University of Vermont Catamounts. The Garrison suited up before the doors opened to the public, then walked around the lobby to greet people as they came in for the game.
