On Saturday, August 16th members of the 501st Legion – New England Garrison and Wampa Clan of the Mandalorian Mercs paid a visit to Hadlock Field, home of the Portland Sea Dogs! There were two Stormtroopers, three bounty hunters, and an R2-D2 patrolling the concourse before and during the game to greet fans and pose for pictures. The game started off with the ceremonial 1st pitch by one of the Empire’s best pitcher/Stormtroopers, and it was a perfect strike too! Now only if they could aim their blasters with such precision.

On the night of Saturday, June 1st, members of the 501st Legion – New England Garrison, Rebel Legion – Alderaan Base, and Mandalorian Mercs – Firaxan Clan attended what has become a regular part of the baseball season in Pawtucket, RI. “Star Wars Night” featured Jedi, Sith Lords, Clonetroopers, Stormtroopers, and more who posed for pictures with both baseball and sci-fi fans. Everyone in attendance had a great time meeting their favorite characters and helped us raise over $300 for the Paw Sox Charitable Foundation. This was a glorious day for the Empire and one that will be long remembered! The NEG was invited to attend a double-header at historic Fenway Park for the Red Sox annual “Futures At Fenway”, which was played by minor league teams the Pawtucket Red Sox and the Lowell Spinners. The whole thing started out with Darth Vader throwing out the 1st pitch, from atop the Green Monster! Troopers also participated in other activities during the game and posed for pictures with attendees during both games.
