<title>The Clone Wars Pre-Screening - Warwick, RI (8/13/08)</title>
<description>Adam Scott (RC-6124) of the NEG and also of WCTK Cat Country Radio helped to set up a great event to promote the pre-screening of The Clone Wars at the Showcase Cinemas in Warwick, RI.  WCTK along with Warner Brothers helped to make it an incredible night for all with trivia contests, photos with the troops, Jabba the Hutt, give aways and best of all, promotion of our annual participation in the Walk Now for Autism Charity Walk coming this September.  Thanks go out to Adam, Cat Country, Warner Brothers and Showcase Cinemas!</description>

<title>Balloon Festival - St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec (8/9/08)</title>
<description>The Canadian Garrison extended an invite to the NEG to participate in the balloon festival in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, a half hour south of Montreal.  The Belgian Garrison&#39;s Darth Vader Balloon was present and troops from the Canadian Garrison, NEG and the Polish Outpost were in attendance.</description>

<title>NEG Invades Cat Country Studios, RI (8/8/08)</title>
<description>Members of the New England Garrison of the 501st trooped the studios of Cat Country 98.1 WCTK in Providence, Rhode Island. The event was the culmination of a week long &quot;Singing Stormtrooper&quot; segment with Tim Leary and the Morning Showgram, giving listeners in Southern New England the opportunity to win passes to the radio station&#39;s Clone Wars movie premiere event. Those trooping the event were quickly interviewed on the air, then performed a rendition of Gladys Knight and the Pips&#39; &quot;Midnight Train To Georgia&quot; for use as a cue to call.</description>

<title>9th Annual Night at the Pops, Boston MA (5/22/08)</title>
<description>The Alzheimer&#39;s Associaiton, a nonprofit organization, held its 9th Annual Night at the Pops on Thursday, May 22, at Boston Symphony Hall. The program that evening was John Williams conducting &quot;Film Night&quot; which included &quot;Star Wars&quot; and some of his other works. To enhance the event even more, they requested having a few of us in costume to walk-around and mingle with the crowd during the pre-performance Hollywood-themed reception.</description>
