501st New England Garrison

Three Events in One Day!
The New England Garrison and it's sister units in the Rebel Legion, Alderaan Base and Kamino Base had an extremely busy day this past Saturday. We were at three different events in two states!

Hasbro Kid's Carnival, Pawtucket RI

The first event was at the offices of Hasbro in Pawtucket, RI for their annual Kid's Carnival. Both Alderaan Base and Kamino Base came out in support of this event.

Star Wars Day at the Gale Free Public Library, Holden MA

The second event was at the Gale Free Public Library in Holden, MA for the kick off of their kid's summer reading program, Starship Adventure. Many thanks to Jane from the library for inviting us and for the donation in our name to the Jimmy Fund.

Auburn Summer Festival, Auburn MA

The third and final event of the day was in Auburn, MA to participate in their annual Summer (4th of July) Festival. Both Alderaan Base and Kamino Base came out in support of this event as well. The crowds were eager to see us and the summer heat came out in style!

The NEG has 103 active members, with more signing up regularly. Throughout the year you will find us at charity fundraisers, promotional events and conventions. Members of the NEG have marched in the Tournament of Roses parade and at Disney world, been in Star Wars Insider, and have been seen on numerous television shows.

The 501st is a world wide Star Wars fan club with over 3000 members. To join, you must be 18 years of age, and own a movie-quality Imperial costume.
