I'm not sure if it was clear in the old scarf discussion, but the big thing to know about detachment subgroups in the 501st (like the Howling Lothcats or Black Widows) is they are not official subgroups. This is one area where the 501st differs from the Rebel Legion. The 501st allows detachments to do them for building comradery, but they are just for fun, and they aren't an official unit at all. For merch, this means we can make whatever we want, whenever we want, but designs can't contain the names or logos of detachment, garrison, or legion. Can't mix the official units in with unofficial.
We did have files for the designs from the patches and shirts we did ages ago, I'll see if I can find a copy.
